Because like magic the last forums DISAPPEARED, along with everyone's posts and stories as well as my story that took 30 MINUTES TO MAKE and was INSTANTLY VAPORIZED by someone I originally PRAISED in the last POST on the last FORUM.
So yeah, I'll keep this one less lengthy than the last one, because thinkin about it it was too long. Introductions aren't stories, right? Right...
I'm LolFrampton, you can call me that if you wish. Or Frampy, Framp, Teh Framp(y), etc. If you make something that remotely resembles my name, I'm likely to respond.
Originally from Pony Living Cinema, that was where I first started getting exposed to this pone famdom on a regular basis. The date was April of 2014 when I first went to PL Cinema. At the time, I wasn't into this pony tom-foolery. It was pretty much the first server I ever went on that didn't have only human player models, so it was a breath of fresh air. But the exposure started gaining an infectious ground, and I could feel my arms twist and writhe as my hands receded into a flat stump and my skin became a tree bark shade of brown. Stripes began to form in such a random-yet-organized fashion, but it was hard to notice as my head was rounding itself and creating a beak-like mouth where my nose was. Once the suffering finally ceased, I saw myself in the mirror of the bathroom. I was a pony.
Fast forward about 2 weeks later. Still new to Gmod. Bought it for my birthday, and probably only had about 100-150 hours logged i the 3ish weeks I had it. In comes (admin deleted) into the lobby of the PL Cinema, making entertaining explosions and killing NPCs. (admin deleted) was talking about a tryout for admin spots, and I immediately jumped on board with it. A few days later, (admin still fucking deleted) promoted me to the spot, thus starting my experience in staff.
I was still waiting my ship date for boot camp. The Navy was sending me to recruit training command July 22nd, 2014. A few weeks prior to leaving, Dr. Poogas (owner of PL) promoted me to head admin of the cinema server and bumped me to superadmin. This was exciting for me, because I could make some edits here and there as necessary.
Went to boot camp for 2 months, come back to the same server pretty much how I left it. That bothered me, made me want to try and make changes. Months passed knowing I could only do so much without server access, but despite my ideas and suggestions nothing ever seemed to change. I started bouncing onto the other servers, and staff there didn't seem too welcoming to my presence. Pretty much was told not to go to the other servers eventually, but I won't get into detail on that. I did in the last post, it made it a lot longer.
So decided to hell with it and bounced on the idea to start my own server. I already had a good following back at PL Cinema, so I knew it would pick up rather quickly (picked up so much quicker than I thought). Beginning of March, 2015 was the birth of what would be come the Small Horse Cinema. Within days of getting it set up to a just-playable state, there were 30+ people on. Somethin about ponies, man.
Fast forward a few months, the server was in a stable working stage and gained a following. The community had developed by this time, and other servers I started were helping with expansion. Then had to go on a required "vacation" for a month and a half, only to come back to an utterly surprising present. So much had changed for the better, like when CrashieButt and Combine had collaborated to create an improved map. That was probably the server's turning point right there. The "golden age". Things just keep getting better as time goes on, and you all and all of the staff have done a fantastic job of transforming my vision into something real!
So yeah, that's the meat of my story. Hope you found it interesting, and if not, eh. I tried anyway. Feel free to reply asking any questions that come to mind, I'd be happy to answer em!
I kinda like how this one turned out. Not as story-like as the last one I made, but more jumpy. I think I'll keep it. Name it Richard. Feed it on a daily basis and pick up its coiled presents. Yeah, Richard, leave that right on the home page. Just like that.
